Samsung QLED TV – make your set disappear with Ambient Mode

Do you love your TV but hate how it looks like, well a TV? Then check out Samsung’s QLED TV line with the new Ambient Mode. The mode that “hides” your TV in plain sight. Well, the screen part of it anyway.

Before you mount your TV to the wall it will hang on, take a picture of it. When the TV is installed, set that photo as the background. The TV will blend into the wall save for the frame. So it sort of looks like a floating rectangle on your wall. Which I guess is better? Honestly, I expected something more magical but I guess this is good too.

This is a background so it can also be set to show things like the weather or art to add a bit of pop to your walls while the TV isn’t in use. The system will also shut itself off to save you power. As a TV, it’s top line, clear picture, strong sound, tidy cord solutions. Sets start at 49” for $899 and go up from there.
