Sarantel Nanotrack – world’s smallest GPS/GPRS tracking device

Nanotrack

The Sarantel Nanotrack is being billed as the world’s smallest GPS/GPRS tracking device, and it sure looks like it fits the bill. It’s quad band and little bigger than a matchbox and is firmware upgradeable remotely, which means it can be programmed to be ultra power efficient and run longer if needed. We can’t think of any use for this puppy in the real world, oh no we can’t.

Just larger than a matchbox, the Nanotrack is the world’s smallest GPS tracker and has been designed to serve the personal, car and asset tracking markets. The device receives positional information from the GPS satellites and communicates this data via GSM networks. A central server stores the position and information for the user who can use it in GPRS or SMS mode.
