Sayso For Good and The Red Ferret team up to do a wee bit of good

Every so often we here at Ferret Towers crawl out of our basement and try and do a bit of good. Just to remember what it feels like. So it’s with pleasure that we announce a tie-up with the Sayso For Good folk, who are also trying to combine commerce with humanitarian causes. Those of you with long enough memories will remember that we used to feature the free Hunger Site banner on the front page, which delivered rice to the needy for a click. Well this new initiative is similar, and we hope you will support it. YOU CAN SIGN UP HERE

The Sayso For Good project delivers the equivalent sum for a meal to a hungry child for every commercial survey that a member of the public completes.  Read more detail here. Currently thousands of surveys are being done every day, which is a good start to help fight hunger and poverty in the world in a simple way. Sure it won’t change the world overnight – but what will, eh? – but at least there’s something good going on to try and counter all the trash.

The heavy lifting is all being done by the Action Against Hunger, and according to the team tens of thousands of meals have already been donated to places where there’s need. So if you’re the kind of person – and maybe even if you’re not – who would like to do a bit of niceness somewhere, then do step up and sign up and use the Sayso For Good survey service. All you have to do is fill out a survey for a few minutes. Oh and you can earn rewards too, which is an added bonus.

That’s all! Thanks for listening.

[Full disclosure:  When a survey is filled in, the Red Ferret also receives a small commission. So it’s kind of supporting our site too. ]
