Sea Levels Will Affect More People Than Thought – new predictions boost the population that will get wet

How many people would be effected by the rising sea level? Up to 250 million people and that’s no small number of. The even worse news? Even if we do everything to turn back the clock on climate change, the sea levels will still rise by 1-3 feet in the coming decades.

The sea levels will continue to rise due to the rising ocean temperatures and with the heat trapped in the earth, the water will warm and expand, causing the water to rise. Science! It is just not just homes but many business and the like that exist around coastlines that will need to be planned for.

This means that planning for what to do with the massive amount of people who will be effected by this rise in water is something that should be taken on now, not later. New data shows that the problem will be more wide spread than originally thought and although the rise cannot be stopped at this point, planning for it can help minimize the harm it does.
