The piano as we know it was invented way back in the 1700s. It’s been a mostly stable invention since then. But music is ever changing. Enter the Seaboard GRAND, a touch piano that takes the classic instrument into a whole new age.
The GRAND looks like piano but it blends notes and sounds smoothly creating something wholly different from a standard piano. This instrument also allows you to control a variety of sounds as your fingers glide across the keyboard. As long as you’re touching it, the note you’re playing will continue and you can blend, bend, or change it as you see fit. You make the song.
The entire thing is touch activated and you can control the presets right from the board itself but it also works with the Equator audio engine so you can further hone your sound. The downside here is that it looks like this is a Mac only product. Sorry PC users. The device comes in three sizes, Studio, Stage, and Limited First Edition. The Seaboard Grand Starts at $1,999.
