Share-A-Watt lets you share an outlet at the coffee shop

It seems that whenever you are on the go and just so happen upon your favorite coffee spot, your phone dies. Not only that, but every single outlet is taken up, and no one is looking like they will want to be of assistance. This would be an ample time to pull out a Share-A-Watt.

The Share-A-Watt is essentially a travel size power strip that will provide an extra outlet, a surge protector with LED indicators, and two additional USB ports. This thing only weighs 7 ounces, so it’s not going to be a huge burden to carry around with you. Keep in mind you will still have to ask someone to unplug something so that you can plug in the Share-A-Watt, but I doubt that they’ll say no since sharing is caring. Thankfully, sharing is also cheap, as this mini power strip costs $19.99.

  • Three outlets, takes up less space in your bag and runs about $2-$5 in a hardware store: http://www.homedepot.com/buy/electrical/electrica… Sure, there is no USB port but you could always use the one in your laptop or the AC/USB adapter you already own that comes with almost every usb-chargeable device sold these days.
