Sixth Mass Extension – making some changes now can stop it

You may have heard talk about a coming “sixth mass extinction” which may sound a little like science fiction but it’s not. It’s an event that will wipe out a large amount of current species on the plant and we’re the cause of it. Bummer. But good news, it’s not too late to stop this!

In order to save the planet and likely ourselves, it’s important that we make changes. A lot of these changes are the same as the ones that we’re making for climate reasons. So, less (or no!) fossil fuels. Cut down on our population growth.

But add to that protect our water and land as well animals. This means new legislation and different habits but making changes in our lives to save the animals (of which we might be one of the long list of species not slated to make it) is worth it.
