Skuku – where mobile phones meets VoIP

Image

Skuku is a solution to the cost of international roaming calls from mobile phones. By combining the versatility and familiarity of your mobile phone with the low cost of VoIP telephony, Skuku users can call anywhere in the world for the same price as a local call on their mobile phone plan.

After signing up and purchasing a Skuku USB adaptor or USB phone, you insert your SIM card and plug it into your PC. You can then use your contacts from the SIM card as normal and call anywhere in the world via the Skuku VoIP network. Whilst your SIM card is plugged in, anyone who rings your mobile phone number will be connected with your computer via the Skuku softphone software. No new phone numbers required, and only $10 per month. Pretty nifty!

Skuku puts the power of VoIP into your SIM card. Keep your mobile phone number and pay only local rates from anywhere in the world. International calls are cheap, and calls to any Skuku user are free! Skuku is the ultimate solution for mobile roamers. Skuku allows you to call or be called using your own SIM card via an Internet connection anywhere in the world. With Skuku, you are always virtually at home, using your already familiar phone number, contact list, SMS, and SIM-based features. Skuku is a great solution to cut roaming costs

  • Mobility to go online is in your pocket and that’s true with the pocketsurfer, what amazes me is the speed to load web pages, yet giving the real web which I haven’t experienced with n number of PDAs that I have tried so far. Its uniqueness is portability, speed and it’s very affordable, you don’t have to think of any contracts with service providers as it included with the pocketsurfer.

I found all the info at http://www.pocketsurferweb.com great site!
