Skyroll Wrinkle-Free Luggage Carrier is an everything burrito for travellers

Flying is a easy way to get from one place to another. Correction: flying will take you from point A to point B very quickly, but is a pain. Why, you ask?  Going through security checks, having to pack in specific sizes while staying within an ounce of a weight limit, no space for carry-on luggage, and screaming children.

While you can’t be rid of all the problems that come with flying, you can at least try to make things easier for yourself with the Skyroll Wrinkle-Free Luggage Carrier. It’s made of of some pretty tough ballistic fabric, and can fit about two suits inside. It rolls up around a tube, which can hold your toiletries or shoes, and won’t take up much space in the overhead bin.  Sadly it costs an arm and a leg, er…I mean $150, but it would be nice if you needed a quick change of clothes after a long flight.

  • I really wanted to like the Skyroll roll up carry on bag. The design and construction appear to be quality (and the reviews were great**), but it unfortunately does not prevent clothing from getting wrinkled. In fact, the degree of wrinkles is actually more than I’ve ever experienced before. Having followed all the directions (including the product video), I was stunned to find two suit jackets and two shirts so wrinkled when unpacked that they required major ironing. Regrettably, Skyroll will not accept returns after the luggage has been used once, despite the manufacturer’s claim that this product keep clothes wrinkle-free. Not sure how a consumer would know how well the bag works during travel unless it is actually used, but perhaps Skyroll has had too many complaints already. If you buy, beware. **The “reviews” on the Skyroll website are all filtered thru the owner (feedback goes directly to his email); wish I had known that before purchase.
