Starting a fire is not the easiest of tasks. If you’ve ever watched a survival show, it’s not a matter of finding two sticks and rubbing them together. Those of us who are still prepping for the zombie apocalypse know that you need to have as many different ways to get a fire going ready at all times.
This Slighter isn’t exactly going to be the most efficient method of making your tinder go aflame, but it will work! This is essentially the same thing as your car lighter but smaller, and with less of a heated surface area. It’ll cost you around $20, but could prove useful to those who find themselves needing a light in a windy area.
You can get around 100 lights out of one charge, and it can be recharged via a Mini USB. This is clearly meant for those who have a smoking habit, but like most things, it can be re-purposed (for the zombpocalypse). Of course, it’s more cost-effective to just buy a box of matches or a lighter. That way you don’t have to deal with remembering to plug it in every now and again.

When lighting a cigarette with a conventional gas fuelled lighter you
take a puff and immediately let go of the button that allows the gas to
flow. Don’t do that with this one without pulling back first because it
will nip the burning end off of your cigarette.

This lighter works very well and she can still light a cigarette while cycling. There’s no flame to blow out.
