SnapType – turn homework digital to get it done

Homework is pretty lame no matter what. I’m home, why do I have to do more? There’s arguments against this time honored part of schooling for younger kids but until the day it’s abolished, they still have to do it. If you have a child that struggles with handwriting, check out SnapType, the app that helps kids complete their work.

All this does is take a photo of the worksheet or homework assignment and allow children to type their answers directly onto the page, as opposed to handwriting them. Typing is easier for children who have issues such as ADHD or dyslexia and this app allows them to complete this work with meltdowns and tears.

It’s a simple app to use, simply snap or upload the photo and use the keyboard to type or your fingers to draw lines. It is available in both the Play and App stores. Although it’s the same app, it seems that you can only take photos directly with the Apple version and with the Android version they must be imported in.
