There are a lot of different types of speakers out there. Tall, short, round, square, you name it, there is a shape of speaker for it. Although I�ve never seen one quite like this before. Sony Japan has revealed to us the SRS-V500IP Portable Audio Speaker accessory. It seems that it is shaped like a to-go tumbler and will fit in your car�s cup holder.

If it were merely one-directional sound, that would be one thing, but the 360 degree sound that this thing pumps out makes it a bit more intriguing. It comes with a dock for the speaker and your iPhone or iPod, a remote control, and all sorts of goodies that would normally accommodate a docking station. There isn�t a price on this just yet, but what we know is that it is boasted to be a car speaker system that could be an easier, portable route for all those who would rather not buy an adapter that they can only use in their cars.
