When you think of a laser, you likely think of a very focused beam of light. You can use it for playing with the cat, pointing out important points in a lecture, or being obnoxious at a theater. Our eyes immediately recognize what that little dot of light jumping around is, as it is commonplace. There are all sorts of different types of lasers out there, but one you may not know about is sound.
There have been parametric speakers around for quite some time, but we are just now seeing products like the Soundlazer hitting the market. It can focus a beam of sound to a particular target. This is obviously best used for playing pranks, as people will think they’re going nuts if they start hearing things. This is an elaborate prank that comes with a price tag of $175, or $250 if you want the protective case. This is currently a Kickstarter project, but seeing as it is well on its way with funding, you can expect to see these start shipping sometime in the fall.
Well, this is a very innovative idea.
But I don't think that it will hit the market well since an iphone alone is already an investment.
