Spectec SDG-810 GPS Receiver – teeny tiny Micro SD GPS device

Spectecsdg810gpsreceiver

The Spectec SDG-810 GPS Receiver fits into a Micro SD slot on your PDA or mobile phone and offers top quality SiRF Star III GPS functionality along with a neat additional slot for your now homeless Micro SD card. Nice design. [Update: thanks Chris for pointing out that it’s a standard SD slot device, which in turn offers an internal Micro SD slot. Not quite so cool, but noteworthy nonetheless.]

SiRF Star III with low signal levels and high sensitivity acquisition. Built-in GPS omni directional Antenna. Supports 20-Channel GPS all-in-view tracking accuracy. Real time navigation for location based services. Colored LED shows GPS signal fixed or searching.

  • It actually fits in a standard SD slot, but gives you a micro SD socket in exchange. Good for laptops and larger PDA’s. Not so good for your tiny phone.
