Tabletop Induction Cooker Hob – no flame, no lingering hotness, just cooking

Inductioncookerhob

Tabletop Induction Cooker Hob. Small, discreet, high tech and black. How else do you want your steak, sir? This small induction hob uses magnetic wizardry to heat up only when a saucepan is placed on the ring, so you don’t have wasted energy, risk of burning and dodgy flames swirling all over the place. The downside is you have to use proper metal pots, no copper, ceramic or glass utensils will work. Hey, it’s a small price to pay for progress right? £82.50.

A built-in thermostat keeps the temperature constant. The cooking time (max. 180 min.) is precisely selected in one minute units (instead of the often usual five minutes). Without constant attendance your vegetables are steamed, preserving all the vitamins and flavours, and your roasts are cooked to perfection. Ideal too for heating frozen food, frying steaks, cooking scampi… and keeping soups warm at parties. Works with any magnetic base pot (steel, enamel, cast iron). Automatically switches off 5 seconds after removing the pot.
