Green Light Gap Crossed – new research adds some viability to different type of green energy

Plants are really good at getting energy from the sun. It’s kind of their whole thing. Although we can sort of copy the process, photosynthesis hasn’t been seen as a viable source of energy because it cannot convert green light making it not a candidate for technical applications but that may be changing as a research team has been successful in creating a process that fills this gap.

Today our major greenhouse gas is CO2 but in the past, it was lead. Which isn’t a greenhouse gas but thanks to mining during the 1100s, a lot of it was in the air and man, that could not have been a good time for people breathing it. New ice cores prove that lead pollution was just as bad then as air pollution during the Industrial Revolution which goes to show, we’ve always been pretty bad at this.
