Nothing makes an evening more magical than a big group of fireflies turning the area into a star filled sky, right on earth. If you happen to live in am area where you don’t have these magical insects, well, I’m very sorry because they are great. Of course, we all might lose out on them as their numbers are decreasing.

Light Pollution – it’s still going strong
More work needs to be done to lessen light pollution says the Campaign to Protect Rural England. Over the 12 years since the issue was first raided, it hasn’t improved which is a shame not just for the night sky but the well being of nocturnal animals and even our own health.
