The bomb beater.

Cjam1000

The CJAM 1000 bomb beater. This, dear friends, is an uber powerful portable cellular jamming device that lets you stop pagers, cell phones, wi-fi or any other microwave frequency for up to 1 km around your location. You can activate it remotely and it comes with a fingerprint option to prevent little Johnny triggering it at an inopportune moment. Shame you can’t buy one sucker, it’s only for governments and official peoples with shiny badges. Wake me up when the key-ring version arrives on the market.

The CJAM 1000 can be used for the following scenarios: * Cellular Triggered Bomb Defeat * Communication Control of Hostage negotiations. * Communication Silencing during advancement on strategic positions * Disaster Communication * Site Control * VIP Protection * Electronic Theft Denial

  • i wish the us military could put these throughout iraq to stop those cellularly triggered iuds.

  • Regarding the above comment: Hm…yeah. Gotta watch out for those exploding uterii over there, dontcha?

  • In the United States, actively jamming a cell-phone signal is illegal. The FCC has established severe penalties for doing so. If you’re caught, it’s ***possible*** you could face an $11,000 fine and a one-year jail term. Possible, but apparently highly unlikely. It seems that the FCC has never charged anyone with this crime.

  • Hey, why hasn’t this made it into an episode of ’24’ yet? Or a Tom Cruise/Harrison Ford flic yet?
Between this and the flexiSPY gadget…it would make for a cool plot line, don’t cha think?

Taking a wild stab at the reason…maybe the ‘bad guys’ (the for real ones) didn’t know we had this nifty little toy…but if they recently found out…now the info gets released to the public…a la ‘disclosure’. Would make sense, that way if the NSA gets all sniffed at big time, they can say..hey, no biggie secret, you can read about it on Yahoo! lol
