The Cryogenic Skin Treatment is not what it seems

There are makeups, cream, and all sorts of devices dedicated to keeping skin looking young. Some prolong it, others try and restore it. While there may already be countless ways of trying to accomplish this task, that doesn’t mean that new ways of doing the same old song and dance won’t be invented.

The Cryogenic Skin Treatment sounds like something from Star Trek, but it is much more simple in use. This patented French device glides over your face, at a temperature of 40 degree Fahrenheit, and is supposed to be moved in circular motions. This form of “cryotherapy” as it is deemed, will help swollen blood vessels to thin out so your skin looks young and taut. It costs $170, but doesn’t guarantee any long-term effects. It is ideal to be used “before an evening out or after a long night”. My guess is that sitting in front of the AC for a while would do the exact same thing.

  • My wife uses an ice cube.
Guaranteed steady 32 degrees F and much cheaper.
I don't believe it does any good, but if it makes her happy ….

  • I'm with you mate, $170 bucks will buy you a good bar ice-making machine … and it does a good job for the missus as well.
