Renewable energy is the future because emissions caused by current energies are literally killing us. But the sun doesn’t always shine, the wind doesn’t always blow so how do we keep up with demand? The answer is simple: Batteries! But to become fully sustainable, we’re going to have to ramp up their production and quality.

The technology for making batteries to store excess energy is already there in fact there are many on the market and currently in use on a large scale platform but there are still too few at this this time to meet the demand of full integration. Standing in the way or the fact that the production creates a host of emissions as well as human rights issues in mining materials.

Still, even so, we may be able to reach a carbon neutral point with them as once in use, they will be helping to maintain a renewable grid of energy.
