RFduino

All those who live in geekdom know that making things is a great pasttime. This can be anything that you can imagine, ranging from warning systems to giant battle mechs. If you are ever on a quest to find more compact, wireless, functioning gear, then there’s a little piece of Bluetooth engineering that you might be interested in.

It’s called the RFduino, and it can function just as well as an Arduino if not moreso. It has Bluetooth 4.0 built in, costs about $39, and is the size of your finger-tip. It’s a standalone board that is sporting a 32-bit Arm Cortex-M0 processor. There are stack-able shield accessory boards such as a battery, USB, servo controller, RGB/LED with push buttons, and a protoboard. Look below to find out how they did it!
