Tongue 2 Teeth – the world’s first hands-free toothbrush


We’re still reeling from this idea, which is either genius or a real doozy. The inventor behind the Tongue 2 Teeth product says that by slipping this little garment over our tongue, we can clean our teeth, and get into those little crevices at the back to remove bits and pieces that lodge there. Too much information?

The product is fully disposable, one use only, so you open the packet, slip the thing over your tongue, and because it’s pre-coated with toothpaste you get to start scrubbing immediately with no wait or muss. We’re fascinated by the idea, although we’re slightly doubtful whether it will be any better than a strip of toothpaste on a bare finger. But then again that wouldn’t be hands free would it?


It’s clearly a rather discrete way of brushing, but even so there’s a fair amount of mouth movement going on, as you can see from the video below, which may scare your fellow passengers if they’re of a frail constitution. No word on production or price yet, so we’ll wait and see what happens with interest.
