Tough Houseplants – start here if you want to garden but have a black thumb

Adding a little green to your household or office can really brighten things up around the place. Plus they freshen the air if you get enough of them going. What’s that you say? You don’t exactly have a green thumb? No worries, here’s a handy list of really hard to kill house plants.

This list contains a number of very common house and office plants that you can find at most florists for an inexpensive amount. They’re easy to care for and although they don’t express pretty buds, they are pretty attractive green things.

Adding a bit of greenery can brighten your mood and provide a bit of happiness to your living and work space. Give one of these tough plants a try. If you can keep them alive for a year, slowly move down the line to more fragile plants. Eventually you’ll be ready to garden and live a more sustainable life.
