Treefingers – a kind of web page Twitter with Digg-like voting

Treefingers

Treefingers. Hmm…what to say? It’s a kind of cross between Twitter and…um…well a place where you post random thoughts about anything that comes into your head or heart and readers vote them up or down. A lot of the posts currently seem to deal with lost love, is that a sign of the times, or just an indication that web geeks should get out more? Ah me, Philosophy 101 beckons. In a funny kind of way, it’s compelling, which is very weird… (tip, there’s a tiny customize button bottom left).

A site about expressing yourself, one random thought at a time. Water the ideas you like, and weed out the crap.

  • Uhm: thanks for the suggest now i visit this service.

  • Can’t access this site with Internet Explorer!

What about people in an office setting who can’t simply download a different browser?

Can you understand the business case for this Red?

  • I’m not sure that there is a business case right now, Smaid. Sometimes things just *are*? :-) The IE thing is their choice I guess. There’s a few sites which are IE only too, which again is a choice.

  • I hadn’t realized that Microsoft IE wasn’t supported welcomed. Treefingers even states it on the bottom of the main page. Interesting…

I use Opera and it’s the Microsoft sites that give me the most trouble. I can’t even access the settings link (Options – Settings) on their search page. I’m not surprised that there are folks out there responding to the kinds of childish games MS plays.

  • This website is beyond all the Twitter shit and it shouldn't be compared. It is something else entirely.
