but is it art? posted by

Trumstand iPhone Dock is nothing short of elegant

There are iPhone docks out there that will boost your sound a bit without the use of electricity. While they may do just that, they are normally made out of plastic, which is rather dull and boring. Although it will boost your sound, it doesn’t sound as crisp and beautiful as, say, a gramophone would.

The Trumstand is a piece of art in the sense of both aesthetics and acoustics. It is made out of brass, copper, and aluminum, and is sure to fill the room with music. It is built similarly to a gramophone with its S shaped, trumpet ended horn, and needs no electricity to operate. There is a power cord attached to it, but that it merely to charge your phone while it is in the dock. These things are made to order, and take about 6 weeks to be delivered, so if you want one, make sure you put in your order ahead of time. I’m sure you have been wondering about what sort of price range you’d be looking at for this fine piece of innovation. I can tell you that the $2,325 price tag it carries is worth it, but only if you have money to spare.
