Tunai Firefly – connect your 2003 vintage stereo to your 2016 life

Tunai Firefly in use

We’ve moving closer and closer to more connected homes and technologies and with each innovation you can control more of your life with your smartphone. How convenient! The problem is, not all of our tech that is still in use has been outfitted for 2016 living. If your stereo or car lacks the ability to communicate with your phone for sound, check out the Tunai Firefly, the Bluetooth connector for your stereo.

This device is very small but it will help you out in a big way. If you’ve got a stereo that’s collecting dust because all of your favorite music is in digital format now, plugging in this device will allow you to play your music and recordings right from your connected device.

Tunai Firefly alone

Your stereo just needs to have RCA ports and you’ll also need a USB port to keep it powered during use. This way, you can control your music without having to resort to CDs like it’s 1999 or something. Although this does work for cars with an adapter, the site says that it’s not perfect so just keep that in mind when deciding to buy. The Tunai Firefly is $49.
