Tunescicles gives you music playlist superpowers

Tunesicles

As we’ve noted before, YouTube currently drives a good proportion of the Web’s music discovery, but up to now we haven’t seen much in the way of basic, down home jukebox functionality from the service. Yes you can set up channels, or use your favorites as a form of playlist manager, but neither of these options gives a really satisfactory result.

The new Tunesicles service fixes all that by letting you search for your favourite music, after which you can save the tracks instantly to a playlist of your own design. The cool trick is how fast it is to set up a large list of tracks, literally seconds from pressing the search button. As if that wasn’t enough, you can also search for full albums and instantly add them to your playlist as well. And you don’t have to wait for the music to finish loading in order to continue adding more.

It’s simple, powerful and a very elegant way to find and track good music. Each playlist automatically receives a URL address (e.g. http://www.tunesicles.com/pl/54 ) which can be shared with friends and family, and you can re-order tracks on the fly to get the kind of mood you want. Yeah, nice.
