TV Attacker – how to turn a standard television set into an offensive weapon

tvattacker3

Do you fancy yourself as a bit of a prankster? Someone who’s always up for a laugh with a roll of toilet paper or a Post-It Note frenzy night? Well this product is probably designed for you, although if you’re eventually identified we want no part of the ensuing investigation, OK?

The Shomer-Tec TV Attacker is designed to do one thing, create absolute havoc with someone’s television set. And when we say havoc we mean exactly that. Forget all those pathetic ‘switch them off’ toys, this puppy will randomly turn the target TV off and on at various intervals (ranging from 5 to 20 mins), which means it can be set to interrupt just about every program viewing session. Try doing this on Superbowl Sunday and you’ll probably need to emigrate if they find out you’re the culprit.

In addition, the thing will turn on televisions if they are off, so you can have it suddenly burst into life in the middle of the night. No really, this is probably the nastiest tool out there. The device is hidden anywhere in the room with the TV, as long as there’s line of sight, since it operates via infra-red. It also comes with magnets so it can be attached and hidden under metal shelves etc.

It apparently works with 85% of all TVs, and is powered by 3 AA batteries. The TV Attacker costs $29 (excluding legal and hospital fees).
