TWIST Plus World Adapter DUO – every adapter you could ever need for travel

One of the most annoying things about travel is that plugs are not universal. They look different all over the world. This wasn’t such an issue in like, the 90s but now? Well, how many gadgets do you travel with? The TWIST Plus World Adapter DUO is the one stop adapter for all your gadget needs.

This is a universal travel adaptor that is good for 150 countries. You turn the base to select your adapter and you can power up to four devices at once. There are two USB ports so you don’t even have to pack a separate charger for devices. This gadget has it all.

It has special Mac specific ports which, if you’re an Android fan like myself, won’t be of much use to you. That being said, it’s still a pretty handy feature for a good deal of people. If you travel a lot and need your gadget fix, check out the TWIST Plus World Adapter DUO for $42.95.

  • I travel a lot and I wouldn’t take this if you gave it to me. I had to buy something similar at an airport out of necessity because it was all they had and while it superficially looks useful it makes no sense. Look around at your stuff… how many different types of plug do you have? Like the majority of people the answer is probably 1. The companies who make these make them needlessly large so they only need to make one design but you don’t need more than one type of outlet on the device side.

Also… unless you’re doing a round the world trip in one you don’t need more than one or two plug types on the wall side. Look at the far right photo. That little plug is supposed to hold up this monster and with cords plugged in? Good luck. The ‘universal’ one I ended up getting and throwing away was a lot smaller than this
thing and it was still too heavy to stay in some of the older outlets in
    certain countries.

Lastly… this thing is $43 and you know you’re going to forget it in a hotel somewhere. Be a smart traveler not a gimmick traveler and buy the individual adapters that you can get for $1 each. They’re far smaller than this so even if you take two or three it’s still less room and you can use multiple outlets instead of plugging lots of things into this and blowing a fuse.
