USB 3.0 Quadruple SATA HDD Dock says you can never have too many external drives

USB3_0QuadrupleSATAHDDDock2

If you’re like me, you’ve got a bunch of legacy hard drives lying around which have accumulated from years of upgrades, broken computers and other such tragedies relating to obsolescent gear. These drives never go home to their disk heaven, they just lurk around cluttering up drawers and shelves. If only there was a way, Santa, to use them productively and gain some extra storage space at the same time.

Well lookee here, what do we have but the USB 3.0 Quadruple SATA HDD Dock, which seems to solve the problem nicely. Not only is it capable of insanely fast throughput speeds via the USB 3.0 port, but it can accept not 1 or 2, but FOUR hard drives of various denominations –  SSD, 3.5”, 2.5”. We’re talking up to 3 Terrabyte of storage capacity available with the right disks. It’s all nicely hot swap enabled too, so you can remove and replace at a whim without powering down. Neat. $119.00.

  • Bought USB 3.0 Quadruple SATA HDD Dock directly from Brando, works great thru USB 3.0, EU plug is just a traveler extension for UK… but except that, device is perfect, nothing to complain about.
