Use Evernote? You may be affected by these changes!

Evernote is a “free” platform for storing and sharing notes across various devices. Copy links when you’re on your mobile to read later, jot down concepts, share information. It’s a handy program but free users are about to see some changes.

Previously, free users could access their Notebooks from a variety of devices which was great for people who used multiple tech throughout the day but didn’t necessarily need the higher end functions that you get with the paid subscription. Yesterday, Basic (free) users received an email letting them know that access to the app would only be available for two devices under that plan and if they needed more, they would have to upgrade.

If you have more than two devices that you access the service through, you’ll have to upgrade to a Plus membership which is priced at $3.99 a month or $34.99 a year or you have the option to go full pro for $7.99 a month or $69.99 a year. Both of these options add a host of features to the service but if you didn’t use them to begin with, it may seem like a move to push users into purchasing subscriptions. Check out the blog for more information.
