Use Safebox to encrypt your Dropbox files automatically

Cloud hosting services are a great way to keep your files backed up off-site, and share them with others. However, if you’re hosting sensitive files, it can almost be a scary thing, not knowing if someone could hack into the server, and get access to them. There are a number of ways to protect them, one of which is Safebox.

Safebox is a relatively simple way to make sure that the files hosted by Dropbox are kept secure. It gives you a new folder, where you’ll put everything that’s shared. What it then does is sends an encrypted version to Dropbox, so that anyone who may get their hands on the file will find it useless. Keys are generated for you, or you can create your own, that you can send to someone you’re sharing your files with. For $.99, it seems like a simple way to keep your files secure in the cloud.

  • I have been browsing on-line more than 3 hours today, yet I by no means found any fascinating article like yours. It is pretty worth sufficient for me. In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you did, the net will likely be a lot more useful than ever before.
