This Vorwerk Thermomix TM 31 is not so much a food processor as a food robot. Not only will it weigh, cut, chaff, knead, blend and stir, but also boil, simmer and cook your stuff all up in your face. Oh and then it will auto-clean itself. Yessir. Apparently sometime soon the company will be introducing an all electric auto-auger add-on – just throw all the ingredients of the night’s dinner in through the kitchen door and the machine will produce your choice of meal in a couple of hours. Hey we can dream right? Around $1400.00.

Hey it's all true – except for the tongue-in-cheek part… I am a big fan of the Thermomix because I am not a gadget person at all, yet this efficient multi-functional kitchen tool has won me over – for life. Am not selling it, but yes, I AM blogging about it. This this does actually cook and stir at the same time. With integrated scale and heating elements, so cooking temperatures are precisely maintained and monitored.. and yes, it does clean itself.
