Cows get anxious and when they are anxious, the milk they make isn’t as good. To help cows stay chill, one Russian farm is testing out VR headsets to help to help settle them down and boost their moods. If nothing else, it’s certainly an innovative way to solve the issue.

The headsets are made specifically to fit over a cow’s head so that they can enjoy the soothing effects of VR. Cows don’t really understand technology because they are cows so tricking them into believing they are somewhere else doing something else is probably really, really easy.

VR on humans already plays a small trick in getting our bodies to believe we are inside of games or other experiences so it probably works just fine on cows. They are watching a summer field simulation which if you’re a cow, is probably top notch entertainment.
