Wall Cleat – keep your cords tangle free and out of the way

Wall Cleat in use

Extension cords hanging out all over your house when not in use can be dangerous. The Wall Cleat is a simple way to solve this problem for non-work space areas.

Outlet cord holders are something that already exists. You’ve seen them in workshops around the world. They’re great because they keep the cords out of the way but in reach when you need them. Usually they’re pretty utilitarian which is where the Wall Cleat differs. This has a nice finish for indoor spaces. This is a 3D printed wall faceplate to hold your indoor use extension cords.

Wall Cleat alone

It is made of plastic and not meant to hold your cords when there’s power running through them. It comes in a variety of colors including white, black, orange, and purple. Installation is easy, it just goes on in place of your standard outlet. The thing about this is, it’s quite pricy for a piece of plastic. Still, it might be just the thing you’re looking for to keep all those pesky cords under control. The Wall Cleat is $50.56.
