The Suunto G9 watch helps to improve your game of golf. No really, that’s what it says on the box. Apparently it measures your strokes, stores statistics and lets you analyse the results with the accompanying software. It will even store details of your favourite courses and your clubs.

The wonder watch also includes ‘a chronometer with time sync from the GPS satellites, a barometer, an altimeter, a compass, GPS position display and a practical Mark home/Find home function.’

So hey, not only can wives be golf widows at the weekend, but also watch widows mid-week. Oh yeah!

Update: my pal Roosa claims that these Finnish Suunto watches are now considered to be cooler than Rolex by the ‘smart’ set. Ho ho!
