Waterpebble – save the Earth and a little bit of money on your next shower

water_pebble in use

Saving water is an important thing. Everyone knows that showers use less water than baths but there’s still some issues with knowing when you’ve used enough or even worse, too much water. The Waterpebble is a shower activated timer that lets you know when it’s time to get out and dry off.

This takes all the brain work out of showering in an ecofriendly way. It’s activated by the water which starts a timer. It’s easy to monitor, even if you have poor eyesight because it lets you know with simple lighting. Green is go, yellow is the halfway point, and red means you’re done, turn it off. After a using this device for a while, the idea is that you’ll eventually learn to shower without wasting water.

The wasting of water saves more than just actual water. It will also save you money (if you’re responsible for your own water bill). Shorter showers mean less water which means less money paid to the water company. The earth is happy and your wallet is too. The Waterpebble is $10.95.
