Who wants a goldfish when you can have an Aquabot?

Aquabot
One thing you really need to consider before getting a pet is whether or not you’re up for the responsibilities that come with it. You can’t just take a living being into your home and never pay attention to it. They need food, water, affection, and most importantly of all, a clean habitat to live in.
If you still want some sort of ‘pet’, then why not get the Aquabot? It looks like a fish, and even swims like a fish, but won’t need to be fed or looked after. Whenever you want to see it go, stick it in water and it will zoom around. Taking it out turns it off just as easily. This will cost you around $11, but you will need button cell batteries to keep it going.

This is a neat idea and all, but having a robotic pet fish is sort of depressing. You can’t really touch it, play with it, or influence it in any way, shape, or form (treats mean nothing to robots). They just sit there, forever winning a staring contest, and living in their own little world.
