Worlds First Spider Proof Shed – inventor nominated for Nobel Prize

Apparently there are millions of you out there who’re scared of spiders. Arachnophobes! We have to confess we’re rather amused by this, since we’ve never had any fear of those cute little eight legged … aaargh, get it off, GET. IT. OFF!! Right, where were we? So, for all those of us you, who may feel uneasy or worse around the little critters, here’s a new product which should make it easier for you to survive extended periods in your garden or yard.

The Spider Proof Shed is, as the name suggests, a garden shed which is specifically designed to keep spiders out. It features air tight and draft sealed windows and doors, a spider repelling light blue color scheme (who knew?), arachnid repelling lining paper inside, and silicone sealed gaps and cracks to keep them from sneaking in when you’re not looking.

If you’re truly paranoid, you can also order some optional extras, like an automatic under-floor flamethrower system and spider mines, which you can lay around the perimeter to stay safe. We jest of course, but you can order peppermint and citrus impregnated wood and a special ‘creepy crawly den’ which you can place next to the shed to attract any would be visitors. Yeah it may be a little over the top, but we’re not going to judge.

You can get yourself one of these beauties for just £1999. We think that’s probably the bargain of the century. Just saying!
