Wow Pen Joy – feel good mousing

Image

The Wow Pen Joy is a 5 button ergonomic USB mouse. It has a half-vertical design that reduces the pronation of the wrist and forearm, and helps with repetitive injuries. The Joy has an 800 dpi sensor and works with all Windows from 98 onwards, OS X and Linux. Currently $US26 from Amazon.

The WOW-PEN ECO’s unique ergonomic design helps eliminate carpal tunnel stain. The WOW-PEN’s sleek and modern shape is the result of lengthy study and research by the award winning INNO DESIGN of Silicon Valley. Traditional mice put unnecessary stress on the user’s wrist and forearm with extended use–often leading to painful carpal tunnel stain. User fatigue is great reduced.

Do you get the 'stain' all over your hand while coping with this monster?

    Plus, I hope you're right-handed.

    • Hehe yeah I saw that Ron.
The italic bits come with a giant, implied sic.

Yeah the best ambidextrous ergo mouse was probably the SmartNav from last weekend.

  • The Wow-Pen Joy looks very intriguing, but I bought two old model Eco's long ago and they made my carpal tunnel much much worse. Pinching your thumb and forefinger to hold the device and operate the buttons while your other fingers are curled closed is really not a pleasant or ergonomic position at all. I think companies that want to use that term should have independent medical validation that they actually are better for you than standard options.

  • The link i clicked was an airplane looking mouse .WTF IS THIS LOL?

  • Nice mouse! And on a practical level, motion, … it might be nice for games too, BF2 style … I like Saitek Cyborg 32000 DPI too for design and gameplay.

  • I have one like this mouse. Difficult for me to adapt at the beginning but now it's really wonderfull ;)

  • Good ergonomics. I think to work the design of a site or a model, it must be very user friendly. Is it suitable for either hand?
