Zamzar – online file conversion done well

I deliberately didn’t follow the Zamzar file conversion service hype when it first came out, preferring to wait and let it all settle down. I’ve now tried it – to convert a PDF to a Word document – and can report that it’s pretty whizzo. That means good if you’re from Red Ferret, Mauritania. You upload the file, give your email address, select the conversion wanted and wait. A short while later the link arrives with the download of your converted file. Free and very cool indeed. There’s also a fee based premium version offering file storage, larger file conversion and other stuff, so it’s a rather neat service all round.

Zamzar is dedicated to helping you transform your songs, videos, images and documents into different formats…We are intent on bringing order to your filesystem by offering you a one stop solution for all your file conversion needs. Like others we were fed up with having files in all sorts of formats, and no easy way of converting between them – the quest to find a better way led to the birth of Zamzar.

  • I found this amazing website it is a WEB 2.0 that supports all media files conversion it is called, they can do the following:
1- Convert document, images, audio, video and Archived files.
2- Convert any Youtube and other Online Video to popular formats or download the video
3- Send file(s) up to 300 MB to friends or post it on any forum for 7 days
4- Convert any type of units (Acceleration, Area, Torque and others)

what makes them amazing is you can add up to 5 different file formats, i used them to convert a document and couple of audio files.

Try them and give me your feedback
