Do you have trouble sleeping? Banish the problem with the Zeo Personal Sleep Coach. How? Just slip the headband on at night, and in the morning you’ll get a report detailing how long and how deeply you slept. That’s stage 1. Stage 2 is a personal coaching regime based on lifestyle data you input, which will recommend changes to your routine to help improve your sleeping results. That strong black coffee at 11pm? Reading 20 page financial reports just before you switch off the light? Think of them as sleep stealers, and deal with them.
It’s all done via an online database or what they call a ‘sleep journal’. Clever stuff all right. The device also comes with an optional SmartWake alarm which will choose the very best time to rouse your recumbent carcass from nod-land. Looks like they’ve got the whole thing covered right? You’ll need $249.00 to find out (plus $7.95 a month for the personal coaching). [Via]
The Zeo Bedside Display puts last night’s sleep data at your fingertips and will store up to two weeks of data for easy viewing. When you wake up, it gives you a personal sleep score – your ZQ – and shows a graph of your Light, Deep and REM sleep over the course of the night. The bedside display will also present you with information about last night’s sleep and how it compares to previous nights. The optional SmartWake™ alarm feature will look for a “natural awakening point” based on your sleep patterns to decrease the grogginess associated with waking from Deep sleep.
