PhotoClip looks to be an interesting little addition to the digital camera market. It features a 1.3 megapixel still digicam, MP3 player, video capture, voice recording and Webcam in one. The current model doesn’t have an LCD preview screen, but the upcoming PhotoClip PhC 7000 series will, although I’m not sure what the price premium will be. The current model costs around �175.00 retail, features compact flash storage and works off two AA batteries.

The folks at 192.com have branched out and launched their own version of the GRIC global ISP roaming service called Net2Roam. According to the blurb it covers 17,000 dial up locations in over 150 countries. They call it pay as you go, but it does incorporate a service fee as well as access charges. Still it’s probably worth noting if you’re a traveller. In any event it looks to be cheaper than the iPass based PDA Roaming service.
