Camera lens ratings.

Photozone’s Lens Test Guide is quite neat – offering a comprehensive ratings table on camera lenses. In fact the whole Photozone site is pretty darn cool, offering heaps of in-depth info and guidelines on photography, standard and digital. Useful if you’re serious about photography methinks.

Sonorix playa.

The Sonorix Bluetooth Audio Player (aka the OBH-0100) is billed as the first of its kind in the world. Not only a voice chat headset for your PC, but also a standalone MP3 music player and a mobile phone Bluetooth handsfree unit. Screw this thing to your skull and you’ll never have to take it off again. ‘…a multi-functional wireless audio player that functions as a Wireless Headphone for PC enabling voice chatting and high quality music streaming. Automoo-wer.

I don’t care what anyone says, I reckon that this new Electrolux AutoMower robot is the ugliest contraption launched in a long while. Arima.

It also sports a touch panel, which should make it easier to enter data. Of course it might never arrive on these shores, or it could be a brick size, but still… [via Engadget]

Urban Tapestries.

Urban Tapestries – ‘public authoring in the wireless city’. Basically a research project looking at the impact of annotating the world via online and mobile wireless technologies. Eh? Well imagine that you are hungry and want to eat out after a concert. You would be able to whip out your smartphone, wave it at a nearby restaurant and receive a slew of user reviews and comments about that eatery and nearby ones which might be more suitable. After you’ve feasted,…

Mooter Search – a new kind of search engine. Well it’s got the silly name, the sparse interface and the friendly buttons. Let’s see how it does, shall we?
