Stress begone?

The Antense Anti-Tension Device. Get rid of tension by slipping on a set of headphones to listen to Liberace’s Greatest….what? He’s what? Really? Oh. Anyway these things will  apparently cost you around $160.00. We can sense your stress slipping away already, can’t we Frieda?  Your body indicates its stress level by muscle contractions in the forehead, neck and scalp. Time flying.

The Floating Clock would not normally float my boat. But this flying funster gets my attention because it actually looks a little surreal, in a ‘not quite Highlander’ kinda way. $89.99.  Just plug the base in, then grab the LCD clock and hold it between the top and bottom of the base at approximately the height and orientation shown in our images. You’ll have to find the ‘sweet spot’, but it’s easy to do with a little practice and the…

The secondary goal of this project is to make it as simple to construct, and…

VW Eco-Racer.

The Volkswagen Eco-Racer. Why oh why, if car manufacturers can seemingly churn out these 100 mpg sports cars with top speeds of 230km/hr at the drop of a motor show, do we not see more 100mpg + vehicles on our road right now? You have to start suspecting hidden agendas, don’t you?  This sports car is powered by a 100 k/w turbo diesel engine of the next generation and stands for a trend setting synthesis of rock-solid economy and an abundance of…

Be the future.

Well I’ve just had the Bethere 24Mbps ADSL Internet service installed. So what’s the verdict? Well  the setup was fairly faultless, plug in the box and go (it’s a Speedtouch modem router which is badged as the BeBox). Speeds? Well let’s just say it isn’t 24Mbps. In fact according to Numion and MySpeed I’m hitting around 6Mbps peak, which is around a T2 line speed. I’m running it via a Powerline rig from the incoming phone jack to my computer in an adjacent…
