Invisible Bookend is all function and no form

When you’re looking for bookends, you want something that will be sturdy and sightly. The only problem is that they take up a little bit more space on the shelf. If you’re much more minimalistic with your belongings, then you probably want something that isn’t going to make much of a statement. If you had the option, would you go for something that looked like it wasn’t there at all?

IceDozer Mini 2.0 is the little scraper that wishes it could

Snow is a beautiful blanket that covers the ground. However, just a few degrees off and all of a sudden you’re stuck with a covering of ice, which is thoroughly less enjoyable. Snow can be brushed off of your car in minutes, but ice has to be chipped, scraped, and broken off. We all have our tools of preference for these situations, but is there one scraper to rule them all?

Exhale Bladeless Ceiling Fan puts a breath of fresh air into the room

There are a variety of reasons we want to have a ceiling fan in our homes. We use it for everything from cooling off in the summer, to just moving air around the house. Whenever you think of one of these things, you probably picture the blades of a fan jutting out from a fixture in the center of the ceiling. In the world of gadgetry and geekery, there’s always a new and better way to do things, and ceiling…

Dog Biscuit Treat Maker will show Spot how much you care

Buying gifts for those that you care about is easy to do. Everything is assembled, and looks neat, tidy, and perfect. It’s not to say that it won’t be appreciated, but when you make something for a loved one, it means that much more. While there are those who think of dogs as just pets, they’re family to others. You can always buy toys and treats for your pooch at a pet shop, but what about making things for your…

Suitjamas – unbridled nonsense in the bedroom

There are some places where elegance and fashion struggle to find a happy balance. Farms, clown conventions and the bedroom spring to mind. It’s hard to look cool when you’re digging the earth, making funny or slumped under your duvet, but to give them credit one company seems to be trying…at least with the latter.

Doctor Who TARDIS PC – Is it bigger on the inside?

Who loves Doctor Who? If your hand shot up in the air while you were sitting at your desk, then you’re probably a fan. There’s also a good chance you have a sonic screwdriver, River Song’s journal, and a Dalek plush sitting on your bed. If you wish you could have your own TARDIS, but don’t have room for the full-size version, then you’re going to want to prepare your wallet.

Rakkido For Kids is a fun way to keep tidy

Children have a miraculous way of stashing things in odd places. Blankets are in the bathroom cabinet, toys are in the cupboard, and pans are all over the living room. It’s a wonder that you can find a whole outfit for them to wear to school on a regular basis. Possibly the most difficult things to find though, are their shoes.

FreeOCRtoWord – converts images to Word editable text with impressive results [Freeware]

One of the really cool things you can do with the new higher resolution smartphone cameras is use them as a very handy portable scanner. Often when I’m on a flight or hanging around reading a magazine somewhere I’ll find something interesting that I want to keep, and bring out the phone to take a photo for reading later. It’s quick and produces surprisingly great (i.e. readable) results.

Bubble Wrap Tie will make the workday a little less stressful

Sitting at an office desk surrounded by other people doing the exact same thing you’re doing can start to get at you after a while. The lack of invigorating things to do can make you a little stir crazy, so you need plenty of things to keep you occupied. Desk toys can only go so far, and sometimes you just need a little creativity to brighten your day.
