Having a smartphone means you can do a myriad of awesome things. It can look up restaurants, connect you to social media, and navigate from point A to point B. This makes it seem a bit silly to get a completely different gizmo to use for navigation if you already have a perfectly capable device.

It’s not a grand idea to be fiddling with your phone while driving. There are laws against it, we know that there are thousands of wrecks caused by it every year, but we still pick up when mum calls. If you want to keep both hands on the steering wheel, but can’t resist when your mobile rings, then you need something to minimize your distractions.

There’s an ancient Mayan proverb that says ‘he who makes false idols, lives always in the shadow of a tall elephant.’ Or something like that. The one thing you can safely say about security is it’s definitely a growth industry.
