The mega-fantabulous-super-funskadelic computer game Crayon Physics Deluxe is finally out. It’s a full commercial version at $19.95, but I’ve included it here under the freeware tag because there’s a free demo which is full featured and promises to deliver oodles of enjoyment while you’re scraping up the necessary credit-crunch cash to buy the complete thing. So please don’t dawdle, get your hand on that mouse, click that button and just enjoy enjoy enjoy! PC only at the moment though.
Crayon Physics Deluxe is a 2D physics puzzle / sandbox game, in which you get to experience what it would be like if your drawings would be magically transformed into real physical objects. Solve puzzles with your artistic vision and creative use of physics.
I've seen better already in the myriads of gamesites: Gravity Master (eg. http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/gravity_master). It may not be pretty, but gives all.
I'm sorry Gilbert but Gravity Master is not even in the same ball park as far as I can see. But hey, there's room for all of us, right? :-)
Well, the room got quite big since that youtube video from Crayon Physics Deluxe flooded the blogs. It may be the mother. All I say is that since the concept was born, some took it further ;)
