You Thought We Wouldn’t Notice is a great little site dedicated to exposing plagiarism in the arts and beyond. It’s an open blog, so anyone can post an item if they feel they’ve been wronged or have seen something that looks rather too familiar.
Some of the rip-offs are just too obvious for words, while other cases, like this French student animation from 2005 which clearly looks like an uncredited inspiration for the 2009 Pixar film UP!, are rather nasty. Why do big companies do this stuff? Because they can?
Welcome to ‘you thought we wouldn’t notice’ a site dedicated to pointing out those things that give you that feeling of ‘haven’t I seen that somewhere before?” This is a open blog so anyone can post anything, we don’t have control over what is put up. We can only delete/edit it once it’s posted, but would much rather leave it with corrected information.
