King Jim Pitrec Business Card Recorder – at last, a sensible solution to business card overload

Kingjimbusinesscardrecorder

This King Jim Pitrec Business Card Recorder is an elegantly designed camera and OCR unit which stores up to 2000 business card details in a beautifully pocket friendly form factor. Just swipe the card through the slot, and the device will read the card, convert it to digital form and store onto the internal microSD card. Cool costs though, at $407.00.

Useful as a quick image to look up someone, the scanner also records details like name, company, and date of scan. You can even add keywords to act as tags when searching through your files. Ideal for the business person on the move who meets a lot of people, the Pitrec looks good and can be slipped into a briefcase or bag with ease.
